Pastor Ronnie Covington

Pastor Ronnie Covington took the helm as pastor of ChristTemple Apostolic Church, Leitchfield, KY, in October 2004 succeeding Elder Floyd Johnson . Covington is a no-nonsense holiness preacher. He was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost over 25 years ago in 1994. He attended Grace Bible College and earned a Doctorate degree in Theology.

Prior to being appointed to the pastorate, Pastor Covington was a member of Newburg Apostolic Church under Pastor Mattie Holland and Pastor Waverly Holland. Originally being from New York, His ministry was influenced by Minister Paul Roberson with Zion Gospel Temple and his time in the Prison Ministry.

Pastor Covington currently serves as the chairman of the First Apostolic Council Credentials Committee.
One of his most popular preaching topics is that sin can be forgiven.

He is the father of 3 children, two sons Jerome and Ronnie, and one daughter Veronica and currently resides in Jeffersonville, Indiana with Damita, his wife of 31 years.

His favorite scripture passage is Romans 8:23.
